Holiday Fun Limited has been providing After School Care and School Holiday Programme services to primary schools in the Manawatu, Horowhenua, Waikato and Auckland areas for over ten years. 2011 has seen the launch of Holiday Fun’s Learning Academy focussing on literacy and numeracy and the Sports Academy which will provide organised sports programmes to primary schools in the Manawatu and Horowhenua areas in school holidays, lunchtimes and in curriculum time, as part of a long term and ongoing project.

The Sports Academy aims to give children access to experiences across a wide range of sporting codes. These experiences offer children a variety of sports from which they able to choose the ones that suit them best. This is the primary focus of the project, to increase regular and on going participation opportunities for children in the short term with a view to children continuing to be involved beyond the programme through club and regional sports via our coaching and organisational partnerships.
